Being the oldest in my family places a great deal of responsibility on my shoulders. My mom counts on me more than anybody in the world. When she is not at home, working at her two jobs, it is my responsibility to cook, clean and get my two sisters started with their homework. It is also my duty to remind my father to take his medicine.  Going to college has been a lifelong dream for me and my family. I have worked hard to get where I am now and after helping my family with their struggles I realized the importance of communication and being able to effectively exchange words and ideas with others.  I want to pursue a college education and potentially a degree in business. There is so much out there to explore and learn that I do not, will not give up after high school.
