The Berkeley Community Fund is pleased to welcome new members to the Board of Directors. Welcome Marcia Argyris and Jules Tippett!

Marcia Argyris

Marcia has spent her career in philanthropy. She was President of the McKesson Foundation for 30 years and now works for the S.D. Bechtel Foundation in their education arm.

Jules Tippett

Jules is co-founder, President and Executive Producer of Tippett Studio. In 1984, she and partner, animation pioneer Phil Tippett, founded the company which now employs up to 225 artists and technicians occupying four buildings in Berkeley, California. Jules was born in England, attended Gloucestershire College of Art and Design, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting in 1975. She completed her education in California, earning a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of California, Davis.
