How you can support the Fund

The Berkeley Community Fund is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization and contributions are therefore fully tax deductible.

The Board of Directors of the Fund covers all administrative expenses, insuring that every dollar of your donation goes directly to providing grants, scholarships and awards.

Sponsoring a table at our annual awards dinner, becoming a member of the Berkeley 100, writing a generous check or gifting shares of appreciated stock or volunteering time, products or services are a few of the ways you can contribute to the work of the Fund.

Awards Dinner

Support our Awards Dinner, held once a year in the fall, through individual and corporate sponsorships. Benefits of sponsorship include recognition in the awards program and tickets for the dinner.

Support the Fund with your time and skills. Bookkeeping, database maintenance, mailing preparation and program support are needed throughout the year.

Grant research and application processing, marketing tasks such as brochure design, newsletter layout, and press release production also require dedicated volunteers.

For these and more volunteer opportunities, contact our office at 510 843-5202.
