Negar EsfandiariNegar Esfandiari 2013 High Hopes Arts Scholar George Washington University Negar has served as Chair of Events with the Berkeley Repertory Theatre’s Teen Council and participates in the Young People’s Program (YPP), mentoring middle school students.  She performed in Berkeley High’s production of The Vagina Monologues which opened her up to global issues concerning women and gender. She hopes to use her interest in storytelling to focus on Film Studies in college. “Her most striking characteristic as a student is her utmost dedication.
