Perseverance is the word I use when people ask what pushes me. I push myself to do better than what is expected of me. Most of the difficulties I have faced have been as an immigrant; I try my hardest not to be at a disadvantage because of them. Four years ago, my parents came to the US to make sure my sister and I can receive higher education. The experiences I have faced, taught me that life is full of endless challenges. This is why I am driven to persevere and overcome them.
